Although close to the Tyneside conurbation, Ponteland's many well-maintained gardens, river, beautiful Park and surrounding quiet countryside provide a range of habitats which are home to a wide variety of plants and animals

What we do...

Our Group is here to encourage everyone's interest in wildlife and the environment, particularly in and around Ponteland. We meet for talks every month from September to April, and occasional outdoor events during the summer. Have a look at the upcoming talks and events

NEXT TALKS: For our final talk of the 2023-24 programme on 
Tuesday 2nd April Paul Stevens will be giving a presentation on the importance of biological recording: Making your records count: an introduction to the Environmental Records Information Centre (ERIC) North East.
As usual we'll be meeting in St. Mary's Hall and refreshments will be available. 

NB: Mark Eaton will now be giving his talk on the UK Rare Breeding Birds Panel in October
